Got a silver lining in the gloomy cloud, it’s OK for me to be able to work, which also means I’ll be OK to work on my projects. I’ll just have to be a little more careful, no heavy lifting or straining, which is why I have an engine hoist, jacks and prybars anyhow.
So, back on the Diamond T this afternoon. I’m going to do something different with the wheels n the ’48 and try to give it more of an authentic, late 40’s, early 50’s “taildragger” look, the wagon needs a new power steering hose and a way to mount the skirts on rear due to the slightly wider rear axle. The rear needs to come down a little (took the lowering blocks out) and some airbags for overloads.
I’m also thinking of a new project, something to use up the 350 setting in the corner and the ’36 front axle and bones. Modified roadster? I could use a Model A cowl, some doors and an old pickup hood if there’s any out there…
I’m BACK, Baby!
Super news……….
Carefully move from day to day.
Future project–either build a second story on your shop or weed out! And leave me off that list!!!
Hmmm, expanded shop. You know that nature abhors a vacume, right?
