In stark contrast to my usual method, I got the car cleaned up, touched up the worst of the stone chips and scratches, and tided up a couple of things. I didn’t want any last minute suprises or things I wans’t happy with when showing the car at Cobo later this month. It looks pretty good. It started right up this morning, so I think I’m good to go.
I pulled it back in the shop, towled it down and vacumed the carpeting. I’m leaving the hood shut, but I did wipe the engine down and sort of dusted things off. I’ll towel it off again before pulling it in the trailer, and I’m packing a detail kit with wax, tire dressing, Armour-All, towels and so on to detail it with when I get there. I’m ready!
