I got this rather ratty looking, but complete Meyers plow. It’s going on the front of the GMC, and a ton of sand in the back, and VIOLA! Let it snow, baby. Now, hopefully, the pump is OK and it’ll work.
I had a little trouble with the truck on it’s maiden voyage to pick up the plow yesterday. The gas tank turns out to be more of a sieve than a tank, which would have been good to know before I put it back on, and then put the box on. Sigh. The truck also needs a heater switch, and it shucked the alternator belt on the way home. I made it, and replaced the belts already. Meant to do that before it got driven anywhere, but the plow deal came up, and I had nothing else to get it home with. Happily, nothing else fell off or broke, so I’m calling it a success.
It’s all going to work out.
