Well, I’ve fixed the hydraulic fluid leak, but now it doesn’t work. I replaced the O-rings and seals in the Meyers plow pump, put a new upper cover on the cylinder, and was all ready to plow after mounting it and filling with fluid today.
Wrong. Now it doesn’t build up pressure at all, so I was better off before when it leaked but at least it worked. I’m at a loss now as to what to do, having followed the manual I downloaded, have no left-over parts. I’ve spent so much I don’t want to throw in the towel, but I can’t really justify spending much more on it. I’ll let it set for a couple of days untill the disappointment and frustration wears off, and tackle it again.
