Here’s Kim, happily scraping 70’s era vinyl flooring off the original linoleum in (on?) the Tini-Home. Doesn’t she look excited? The original linoleum is actually in very good shape, so we’re going to try to clean it up and save it.
The remains of the original trailer body we loaded up on my little utility trailer and hauled to the burn pile. It was a pretty sad-looking mess…
The original aluminum skins we’ll use for patterns, and then recycle it. New skins are in store, the originals had enough dents and dings to make them not worthy of using over. Plus, I crinkled them up getting them off the trailer.
Notice all the head-room! It certainly smells better already. Here, Kim has forgotten about the trio of nearly frozen bats we found on the shop floor. We kept hearing a weird “buzzing” noise, which turned out to be the little creatures. Dad put them up in the attic of his carriage shed, we hope they survive.
Now, we can get busy building new side walls, and planning the interior work. It’s a pretty small space, so there shouldn’t be too much debate about the layout.
Oh man you are so wrong. There will be ‘debates’ aplenty!!!
Hello Brian,
I went to the Barrett-Jackson auction last week and saw a couple of nice Diamond tucks there and thought you might enjoy seeing the pictures of them. E-mail me an address if you’re interested.
