As promised, I pulled the truck outside, washed a years worth of dust and garage dirt, then pulled it back inside.
Turned out it was one thing to set the windshields in the body yesterday, but quite another today to get them bolted to the hinges, the regulators working, and adjusted so they’ll actually crank in and out. It took hours to get things just right, and even so, the left side will only crank out about an inch and half. Which should be fine.
After all that work, I was happy just pulling it out, washing it and them pulling it back in. A bike ride with our dog Ari, a glass of Apple Pie ‘shine and watching the sunset completed the day.
Doesn’t get much better than that!
“Apple Pie shine”…..sounds exotic and delicious….a drink?!
Delicious yes Sheyl, but exotic, well… It’s actually Moonshine, “Junior Johnsons” in fact, and it’s my new favorite winter drink!
