I know, you’re wondering where I’ve been, what I’ve been doing, and why I haven’t kept up to date with “Cool McCool’s Garage”.
The answer is, I had rotator cuff surgery early in June, and I haven’t, up until the last couple weeks, been doing much in the shop. Now, however, I’m back at it, and have been busy, with the blessing of my orthopedic surgeon.
First up, the Del-Ray truck camper. It’s all painted, as original, two-tone white and red, and the interior is ALMOST done. Complete new ceiling, new dinette, new water tank and 12V demand pump (to replace the rusted out original galvanized steel tank), and a comfy new mattress. It certainly smells better, thanks to the new interior, and the look is back to the ’60’s.
Next up, we’ll review some of what we did this summer, and get caught up with all the latest activity here at Cool McCool’s, now that I have two working arms, and am back gainfully employed.
Looks fantastic! Glad you’re back in the saddle.
So glad you’re back!
I am glad to see you back at it and your recovery going well. Keep it up!
Thanks! I’m feeling good, ready to start in on the ‘Bird, the “Majestic Yellowstone”, and the ’47 Spartan Manor. Stay tuned!
